RVGA Dinner at Stone Ridge Orchard, 2022

Please join the Rondout Valley Growers Association for our annual dinner event, taking place under the iconic, historic Oak Tree at the beautiful Stone Ridge Orchard. This autumn feast will celebrate the growing season, the abundance of the Rondout Valley, and - most of all - the farmers who go above-and-beyond to ensure that we have healthy foods for our communities, food pantries, and Farm-to-School programs.

We’re offering a choice of two dining experiences:

• Dine at the Orchard, Dinner Basket for Two
• Take-Away, Dinner Basket for Two

Dine at the Orchard:

Purchase your dinner basket for two and enjoy it while listening to live Americana music from The Hey Y’alls and experiencing the joy of community connection. We'll have seating available and you're welcome to take your own chairs, picnic blankets, and small pop-up tents. It’s been a long time since we could all gather and we’re looking forward to conversations, laughter, dancing, and a wonderful evening!

Your basket will include two drink tickets and there will be a cash bar for your continued enjoyment of draft beer, wine, Stone Ridge Orchard's hard cider, and non-alcoholic selections.

Take-Away Basket:

If you're unable to dine at the Orchard, you can purchase a dinner basket for two for pick-up so you can enjoy the meal on your own timeline. Your handmade wooden produce basket will be filled with delicious foods and 2 cans of Stone Ridge Orchard's hard cider, which you can enjoy during an at-home date night, a picnic with friends at another location, a special treat for yourself…whatever works for you. And best of all, you won’t need to reheat anything so it will be ready when you are.

*Please note that we will be unable to accommodate your enjoyment of this basket at the Stone Ridge Orchard. If you’d like to stay and dine there, please purchase the “Dine at the Orchard” basket for two.

If you are unable to take advantage of this event yourself, or want to buy an additional basket, please consider purchasing a Sponsor-a-Farmer ticket, which will allow us to provide a dinner basket to a RVGA farmer member, free of charge for them. It's a thoughtful and very appreciated way to show your thanks for the work our farmers do for the community!

Stone Ridge Orchard is a 200-year-old historic working farm set on 115 acres in the heart of the Rondout Valley. It's the perfect place to celebrate local agriculture, growers, and those of you who value the Rondout Valley’s resources. There are overnight accommodations available at the orchard if you’d like to extend the experience.
